TOWN OF LONGBOAT KEY NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ORDINANCE 2014-23 JUNE 2, 2014 - 7:00 PM JULY 7, 2014 - 7:00 PM Notice is hereby given that the Longboat Key Town Commission will hold first reading and public hearing on Ordinance 2014-23, on June 2, 2014, at 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible, and second reading and public hearing on July 7, 2014, at 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible, The public hearings will be held in the Town Commission Chamber, at Town Hall, 501 Bay Isles Road, Longboat Key, Florida. ORDINANCE 2014-23 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE GENERAL FUND BUDGET OF THE TOWN OF LONGBOAT KEY, FLORIDA, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 2013, AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 2014; INCREASING WCIND GRANT REVENUE IN THE AMOUNT OF $37,262.00; AND INCREASING RELATED EQUIPMENT EXPENDITURES OF EQUAL AMOUNT IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT BUDGET; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. All interested persons may appear and be heard with respect to the proposed ordinance. Copies of the proposed ordinance and related materials may be viewed at the Office of the Town Clerk, at 501 Bay Isles Road, Monday through Friday, between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM, prior to the public hearing. No verbatim record by a certified court reporter is made of these proceedings. Accordingly, any person who may seek to appeal any decision involving the matters noticed herein will be responsible for making a verbat im record of the testimony and evidence at these proceedings upon which any appeal is to be based (see Section 286.0105, FS).
