NOTICE OF ELECTION The West Villages Improvement District will hold an election pursuant to Section 189.4051, Florida Statutes at which only qualified electors may vote for the purpose of electing a qualified elector to Seat #5 of the West Villages Improvement District Boa rd of Supervisors. The election will be held on June 24, 2014, from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Island Walk Club House located at 13605 Tantinto Boulevard within the City of North Port. WEST VILLAGES IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT OFFICIAL SAMPLE BALLOT West Villages Improvement District Election The following candidate shall be elected to Seat #5 of the West Villages Improvement District Board of Supervisors: __________ Bob Rossman __________ Stephen D. Starr Voters are encouraged to bring a form of photo identification and a copy of their deed or other evidence of ownership of property so that if a question arises as to their qualification to vote, it can be promptly addressed. NOTICE OF LANDOWNERS' MEETING AND REGULAR BOARD MEETING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Landowners' Meeting of the West Villages Improvement District will be held on June 24, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. , or as soon thereafter as can be heard, at the Island Walk Club House located at 13605 Tantinto Boulevard within the City of North Port. The primary purpose of the Landowners' Meeting is to receive reports for the West Villages Improvement District. Following the Landowners' Meeting there will be a Regular Board Meeting to hear any and all business to properly come before the Board. A copy of the Agendas for these meetings may be obtained by contacting the District Manager at their toll free number at 1-877-737-4922. The meetings may be continued as found necessary to a time and place specified on the record. If any person decides to appeal any decision made with respect to any matter considered at the Landowners' Meeting or the Regular Board Meeting, such person will need a record of the proceeding and such person may need to insure that a verbatim record of the proceeding is made at his or her own expense and which record includes the testimony and evidence on which the appeal is based. In accordance with the provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act, any person requiring special accommodations or an interpreter to participate at these meetings should contact the District Manager at their toll free number at 1-877-737-4922.
