PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE OF INTENT TO CONSIDER APPLICATION FOR THE RENEWAL OF UTILITY FRANCHISE ISSUED TO LAKE FOREST UTILITY, LLC FOR THE PROVISION OF WASTEWATER NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to Section 126 of the Sarasota County Code, that the Board of County Commissioners of Sarasota County, Florida ("Board") will conduct a Public Hearing on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. or as soon thereafter as poss ible at the Sarasota County Administration Center, 1660 Ringling Boulevard, Sarasota, Florida to consider the application of Lake Forest Utility, LLC for renewal of its sewer-only franchise. At or about the scheduled time, the Board shall hear public comment in support of and in opposition to the application. The public hearing will be opened and closed before deliberation on the application. All interested parties are invited to attend and be heard. Written comments filed with Clerk of the Board will be heard and considered. The following time limits for speaker presentations are in effect for each public hearing, pursuant to County Resolution No. 91-22: 20 minutes for petitioner presentation; 5 minutes for citizen comments per speaker; 5 minutes for petitioner rebuttal. The complete application including the rules and regulations, and service availability policy for the applicant may be viewed at the Sarasota County Government Center, Public Utilities, 1001 Sarasota Center Blvd., Sarasota, Florida between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on any regular working day. NO STENOGRAPHIC RECORD BY A CERTIFIED COURT REPORTER IS MADE OF THE MEETING. ACCORDINGLY, ANY PERSON WHO MAY SEEK TO APPEAL ANY DECISION INVOLVING THE MATTERS NOTICED HEREIN WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAKING A VERBATIM RECORD OF THE TESTIMONY AND EVIDENCE A T THIS MEETING UPON WHICH ANY APPEAL IS TO BE BASED.
