LEGAL ADVERTISEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION CONSULTING SERVICES UNDER TERMS OF NON-EXCLUSIVE CONTINUING CONTRACT THE SCHOOL BOARD OF SARASOTA COUNTY, FLORIDA will select at least one (1) but no more than three (3) qualified and certified firms pursuant to Section 287.055 Florida Statutes and School Board Policy #7.71, 3.1, to provide , under the terms of individual non-exclusive three (3)-year continuing contracts, the following professional services: PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION CONSULTING SERVICES The scope of work on the individual owner-assigned professional engineering contracts are projects whose construction costs do not exceed $2,000,000.00 and for study activities if the fee for professional services does not exceed $200,000.00, and may inc lude, but are not limited to, plumbing systems, electrical systems, equipment replacements, duct replacements, indoor air quality upgrades, thermal energy storage systems and control systems. Individual projects will be assigned to the firm(s) in accorda nce with School Board Policy #7.71. The total estimated cost of these services for the three (3)-year period is $300,000.00. A MANDATORY pre-application meeting will be held on Tuesday, 5/20/2014 @ 10:00 AM, at the following address: 7895 Fruitville Road, Sarasota, FL 34240, in the Construction Services Training Portable. All firm's interested in providing an application for t his service are required to attend this meeting and any firm not attending will not be considered for selection. Professional Engineering Design and Construction Administration consulting firms that have attended the mandatory pre-application meeting shall provide, prior to 3:00 PM on 6/6/2014, one (1) completed package complying with the application requirements.
