REQUEST FOR APPLICATIONS (RFA) TRAINING VENDORS FOR TARGETED OCCUPATIONS WORKFORCE REGION 18 CareerSource Suncoast (CSS), formerly known as Suncoast Workforce, provides employment and training services for Florida Workforce Region 18, comprised of Sarasota and Manatee Counties. CSS programs provide services under the Workforce Investment Act (WI A), Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), and other federal, state and private grants, and make referrals to qualified Training Vendors for occupational training in demand occupations. CareerSource Suncoast is now accepting Training Vendor Applications for Program Year 2014-2015 (July 1, 2014 to June 30, 2015). This application process will identify qualified training institutions to provide targeted occupational training in skill area s of sustained labor market demand or growth. To be considered for inclusion on our Approved Training Vendor and Program List for PY2014-2015, vendors must submit complete applications no later than 5 p.m., Friday, April 25, 2014.
