TRANSPORTATION PLANNER The Sarasota/Manatee Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) is seeking qualified candidates for a Transportation Planner position. Pursuant Federal Law, the MPO is the designated organization responsible for local transportation planning of federal and state funded projects and programs for the Sarasota and Manatee County area. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in urban or transportation planning or related field and a minimum of 3-5 years planning experience in transportation planning or clo sely-related urban planning work. This opportunity requires excellent analytical, writing, organizational and public speaking skills; proficiency using computer technology; and familiarity with federal and state transportation funding processes.
